What should I do with this phone?

Ok, so this weekend my friends and i were hanging out and my friend dropped her blackberry curve in the creek by my house. So we went to my house and left our phones there becuz we all have the same type, iphone or blackberry curve. We are wondering if we should bring it in and have them fix it or if we should just throw it away and her buy a new one. any advice????
